Job Purpose

Handle the main responsibilities of the GFMIS systems’ support.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies).
  2. Research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems working normally.
  3. Monitor server health using existing management tools and respond to any issues as they arise.
  4. Help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed.
  5. Assist the other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
  6. Follow up regular upgrades for all software/hardware and applications.  
  7. Supervise the Installation for all new software and application for external/ internal projects.
  8. Follow-up the Low-level design and Solution documentation for internal and external projects.
  9. Participate in service failover testing.  
  10. Supervise and document system configurations.
  11. Act as the 2nd layer of support for internal / external user’s problems.

Specifications (Qualifications, Experience and Skills):

Education                           

Specialization:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems.
  • Familiar with Citrix component
  • Good knowledge with virtualization
  • ITIL Foundation and ITIL Operations Certificates are a plus

Experience                        

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field.

Conditions of Employment

  1. Days Off: 2 Days/Week
  2. PPEs / Health, Safety, and Environment requirements: No
  3. Working Days: 5 Days / week [Sunday Till Thursday].
  4. Working Environment: 90% standard office work & 10% out of office.
  5. Working Hours : From 9:00 AM till 5 PM.
