Job Purpose
Impement the targetted directions in terms of design, development, and implementation of POS systems, ensuring they meet the business’s requirements and providing technical guidance to the development team and troubleshoot applications and related tools used for processing financial transactions in a C-based POS terminal.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate POS system development projects from concept to implementation.
- Set timelines, allocate resources, and manage priorities to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and analysts, providing technical guidance and support.
- Monitor progress, review deliverables, and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with stakeholders (e.g., product managers, business leaders, vendors) to gather requirements, define goals, and communicate project status.
- Design, develop, and implement POS systems that are secure, scalable, and meet business needs (whether on-premise or cloud-based).
